As a network of leading universities linking the Americas, Asia, and Australia, APRU (the Association of Pacific Rim Universities) brings together thought leaders, researchers, and policy-makers to exchange ideas and collaborate on practical solutions to the challenges of the 21st century. APRU's primary activities support these strategic priorities, focusing on critical areas such as disaster risk reduction, women in leadership, indigenous knowledge, virtual student exchange, e-sports, population aging, global health, sustainable cities, artificial intelligence, waste management, and more.

AEARU – Association of East Asian Research Universities

The Association of East Asian Research Universities (AEARU) is a regional organization founded in January 1996, with the goalds of forming a forum for the presidents of leading research-oriented universities in East Asia and of carrying out mutual exchanges between the major universities in the region. Expectations are that this regional union, on the basis of common academic and cultural backgrounds among the member universities, will contribute not only to the development of higher education and research but also to the opening up of a new area leading to cultural, economic and social progress in the East Asian region.

IIE Global E3 – Global Engineering Education Exchange

Recognizing a growing demand for internationally-experienced engineering graduates, a group of leading universities around the world established the Global E3 consortium in 1995. IIE Global E3 (GE3) allows engineering students at member universities to enjoy a fulfilling study abroad experience that has been selected and approved based on its engineering expertise and international standards. Through participation in the program, Global E3 graduates gain the necessary cross-cultural skills and professional experience to excel in the multinational/multicultural business environment of the 21st century. |
Sweden-Korea Education, Research, and Innovation Collaboration (SKERIC)

SKERIC is a collaborative project between eight Swedish and Korean universities. The project addresses some of the major challenges facing humanity today, with the aim to equip some of the best and brightest young researchers and innovators from Sweden and Korea with the necessary tools, skills, and networks to become academic leaders and outstanding researchers and innovators, capable of addressing the world's most pressing challenges as well as advocating for democracy and academic freedom.
