POSTECH Academic Exchange Program is exclusively for both undergraduate & graduate students from worldwide, providing the students with the opportunity to study and immerse themselves in POSTECH. Students should select their Path & Track before applying based on their decision or circumstances. |

| Course Taking (C) Path | Research Combined (C+R) Path |

| All students enrolled in Academic Exchange Program will be joining Course Taking (C) Path by default. Students can take courses at POSTECH and earn credits which may be transferred to their Home Institutions with Official Transcript. However, if the student is under Concurrent Track, he/she is responsible to check the availability of transferring the credits to their Home Institutions. | Students who wish to participate in Research while taking courses are eligible for the Research Combined (C+R) Path. However, students need to contact their to-be advisor at POSTECH by themselves and get a Letter of Approval signed before applying. Once the program has concluded, C+R Path students will receive Certificate of Research Participation with their Official Transcript. |

| Exchange Track is for students in POSTECH partner institutions who wish to study at POSTECH for one or two semesters. Exchange Track Students should be officially nominated by their home institution and pay the tuition to their home institution. | Concurrent Track is for students in non-partner institutions who wish to studay at POSTECH for one or two semesters. Concurrent Track Students should apply individually and pay the tuition to POSTECH. |

Eligibility
Students must:
○ Have completed at least one semester before they apply
○ Currently be enrolled in their Home Institution
○ Overall GPA 3.0 out of 4.3 equivalent to:
- Letter Grade B, 3.0 out of 4.0, 4.0 out of 5.0, 80%
○ English Proficiency of either
- TOEFL iBT 79, IELTS Academic 6.0, Home Institution Language Assessment C1
Process

1. Nomination (Home Institution)
Partner Institutions' coordinators will submit the Nomination Online. Please let the Nominated Students prepare for Required Documents from this step. Some students have trouble obtaining necessary documents, and this leads to delay on our Application Process. 2. Application (Student) After finalizing nomination list, those students nominated will receive the Call for Application email. Students should submit application through our IR Portal with Required Documents. During Application period, student may receive system emails to supplement the documents. If you do, please ensure to submit the updated or revised one as soon as possible. 3. Admission (POSTECH) Admission Results will be announced via email with Admission Package including Exchange Student Guide. |

Required Documents
○ Certificate of Enrollment
- Should be issued within six months
○ Official Academic Transcript
- Should be in English and include overall GPA
- If your Official Transcript does not include overall GPA, you should submit additional paper issued from Home Institution to prove your overall GPA
○ English Language Certificate
- Certificate should be issued within two years and be either:
; TOEFL iBT 79 (within two years)
; IELTS Academic 6.0 (within two years)
; Home Institution Language Assessment (Indication of Level should be "C1" or "Enough to Study in English")
○ Recommendation Letter
- Should be issued from Home Institution Faculty or Staff
○ Copy of Passport
- Should be valid for six months from the end of the program
Additional Required Documents for NON-OECD Nationals
○ Apostilled Certificate of Enrollment
- Should be apostilled from Korean Embassy or Official Apostille Center, not Home Institution
- It usually take at least 2 weeks to obtain apostille. If you are non-OECD nationals, please apply for the apostille at the beginning
○ Financial Proof
- Bank Statement or Scholarship Certificate under student name
- Amount should be at least 3,000 USD (for a semester), 7,500 USD (for two semesters)

Course List
POSTECH is a Bilingual Campus and about 70% of the courses designated for English instruction are delivered in English.
Students are available to check course list on PLMS Website.

Transcript
Students will receive their Official Transcript at IR Portal after their Program Completion and submitting the Feedback Survey.
Grading Scale & Credit System
Students should take Minimum 10 to Maximum 18 POSTECH Credits per Semester. Standard Full-Time is counted for 15 Credits per Semester.

GKS (Global Korean Scholarship)
○ Qualification
- Students of Foreign Nationality who have never studied in Korea before
- Overall GPA above 80%
○ Selection Procedure
- POSTECH will evaluate student's application including academic background, diversity of nationality, institution, and else and nominate selected students.
- After nomination, NIIED will review the nomination from POSTECH and share final result with POSTECH.
○ Scholarship Details
- 630,000 KRW per month & Economy Class Airfare
GPES (Global Postechian Exchange Scholarship)
○ Qualification
- Students who are familiar with social media, camera, blogs and willing to create contents about their program
○ Selection Procedure
- POSTECH will evaluate student's application without any academic background or nationality, but only the quality of application and willingness of the students forward GPES Scholarship.

- 500,000 KRW per month
